Key Responsibilities

  • Manage full project lifecycle from preconstruction to closeout, ensuring adherence to budget, schedule, and quality.
  • Interpret plans and drawings with precision; lead all communication among owners, architects, engineers, and subcontractors.
  • Prepare and maintain comprehensive project schedules using Microsoft Project and three-week look-aheads with superintendents.
  • Execute effective subcontractor buyouts in collaboration with estimating and operations leadership.
  • Monitor material and shop drawing submittals; review and approve final documents.
  • Lead and document all project meetings including OAC and internal progress reviews.
  • Provide detailed monthly cost projections and update management on potential cost/schedule impacts.
  • Ensure all contract documents are fully understood and adhered to throughout the project lifecycle.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Construction Management preferred.
  • 10+ years of experience in commercial construction project management.
  • 3-5 years of direct responsibility managing full-cycle construction projects.
  • Proven ability to complete projects on time and within budget.
  • Familiarity with auto dealership or multi-story self-storage construction projects preferred.
  • High proficiency in Procore, Microsoft Project, and Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong knowledge of project accounting, contract compliance, and scheduling.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a high sense of urgency.
