General Summary
Under general supervisor, the maintenance technician performs a wide variety of maintenance duties required to provide a clean, orderly, and safe environment. The maintenance will perform duties in and around campus facilities; troubleshoots, performs minor repairs, and responds to emergency calls for service; implements setups and take down for a variety of campus and community events; works closely with staff/faculty to meet the maintenance needs of the area.
Position Overview
A Maintenance Technician is responsible for assisting with the upkeep of the facilities. They are skilled in a variety of areas including plumbing, carpentry, and electrical systems. Duties include inspecting buildings, maintaining inventory, and scheduling repairs.
We are looking for a talented and reliable Maintenance Technician to join our facilities team. In this position, your chief responsibility is to preserve the excellent condition and functionality of our school and community center premises. Your duties will include conducting quality assessments, scheduling repairs, maintaining inventory, and conducting preventative maintenance procedures.
Our ideal candidate will be a jack-of-all-trades, with knowledge of maintenance procedures, HVAC systems, and basic tools and appliances. To excel in this position, you must be an outstanding problem-solver with exceptional communication and organizational skills.
