Job Description

• Location: Frisco, TX 75034
• Shift: 8:00 AM 5:00 PM
• Guaranteed: 40 Hours
• Compensation: Based on experience.

Responsibilities:

• Provide 24/7 trauma surgery coverage in a Level I/II trauma center environment.
• Perform emergency surgical procedures for trauma patients.
• Participate in trauma call rotation.
• Manage pre- and post-operative care for surgical patients.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including emergency physicians, intensivists, and specialists.
• Ensure accurate documentation of all patient interactions, procedures, and outcomes.
• Participate in trauma quality improvement programs and morbidity/mortality reviews.
• Supervise and mentor residents, advanced practice providers (APPs), and medical students, as applicable.

• Doctorate Degree in Medicine (MD or DO) Required
• Board Certified/Board Eligible in General Surgery Required
• Fellowship-trained in Trauma/Surgical Critical Care.
• Licensed to practice medicine in the state of Texas Required
• Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS) certification Required
• Prior experience working in a high-volume trauma center
