Solution Architect

Our client, a multinational telecommunications technology company is growing their high impact Solution Architecture (SA) practice and they are seeking a hands on, client facing Consultative Solution Architect based in Atlanta. As part of the Solution Architecture (SA) practice, you will engage executive stakeholders, shape roadmaps, and guide complex cloud integration programs from discovery through delivery. We are looking for someone fluent in AWS architecture and excels at integrating Oracle SaaS applications-NetSuite, Fusion-ERP/HCM, Simphony-into heterogeneous enterprise ecosystems

Key Responsibilities:

- Client Discovery & Advisory: Lead architecture workshops; translate business goals into solution roadmaps, reference architectures, and phased release plans; create TCO/ROI models.

- Solution & Integration Architecture: Design cloud native and hybrid patterns (REST/GraphQL, async events, streaming) that integrate Oracle SaaS with AWS services (Lambda, API-Gateway, EventBridge, S3, DynamoDB, Aurora, Redshift, etc.) and third party platforms.

- Governance & Best Practices: Define guardrails for security, scalability, resiliency, compliance (SOC-2, PCI, GDPR), and cost optimization; contribute to internal architecture standards and reference templates.

Technical Leadership & Mentoring: Guide delivery teams, conduct architecture reviews, perform PoCs/spikes, and coach junior architects to strengthen the SA practice.

Required Skills

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor-s in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or equivalent experience.
- 10+-years designing and delivering multi tier enterprise solutions, with 5+-years in a formal Solution/Enterprise Architect role.
- Demonstrated experience establishing or maturing an SA practice (frameworks, artefacts, governance, mentoring).
- Oracle SaaS integration: deep understanding of NetSuite SuiteTalk/SuiteScript, Fusion SOA/OIC, Simphony Point of Sale APIs, and common ERP/HCM data domains.
- Ability to produce architecture documents like sequence flows, data models, security models.
- Based in or willing to relocate to the greater Atlanta area.

Preferred / Nice to Have

- Current AWS-Solutions Architect---Professional certification.
- Oracle Cloud Infrastructure-(OCI) Architect Associate/Professional certification.
- Experience with micro frontends, serverless event driven architectures, and data mesh principles.
- Background integrating POS or hospitality platforms beyond Simphony (e.g., Opera Cloud, Micros-3700).
- Familiarity with DevSecOps pipelines (GitLab-CI, GitHub-Actions, Jenkins) and automated testing frameworks.
