Job Description

Our client, an in-house creative agency based in Walker, MI, is seeking a freelance Senior Project Manager to lead the coordination, execution, and delivery of integrated marketing and creative projects. This role requires a detail-oriented and proactive leader who thrives in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.

 

Responsibilities:

• Project Leadership
  Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of marketing and creative projects—from intake to final delivery—across channels such as photo, video, digital, social, print, CRM, and point-of-purchase (POP).
• Workflow Management
  Evaluate project requests, develop detailed schedules, assign tasks, and ensure timelines and budgets are met using internal project management tools.
• Team Collaboration
  Act as the primary liaison between internal teams (Creative Directors, Designers, Copywriters, Marketing) and client stakeholders.
• Resource Allocation & Mentorship
  Lead and allocate tasks across project managers and creative resources. Mentor junior project managers, supporting their development and ensuring team performance.
• Operational Efficiency
  Drive continuous process improvements. Explore and implement GenAI tools to automate workflows, enhance resource planning, and optimize project delivery.

 

Required Qualifications:

• Experience: 5+ years in project management within a creative, marketing, or in-house agency setting.
• Industry Knowledge: Experience in consumerproduct marketing, retail, or omnichannel content production is a strong plus.
• Project Scope: Proven success managing integrated, multi-channel campaigns in deadline-driven environments.
• Leadership: Strong leadership and team management skills, including mentoring experience.
• Tools: Proficient with platforms like Workfront, Monday.com, Wrike, or similar. Skilled in Microsoft 365 and Mac OS.
