Job Title: Caring and Experienced Nanny Needed for a Wonderful Evanston Family!
Location: Evanston, IL 
Start Date: ASAP
Compensation: $28/hr. + paid vacation, holidays, and PTO
Schedule: Flexible part-time to full-time hours, based on the right nanny’s availability.
About the Family
A warm and welcoming Evanston family is searching for a dedicated, attentive, and experienced nanny to join their household. They have two adorable children: a 2-year-old and a 10-month-old. The family values a nurturing environment where children thrive through engaging play and developmental activities.
Responsibilities

• Provide loving and attentive care for the family’s two children: a 2-year-old (attending a morning activity from 9:15 to 11:45 am starting Summer 2025) and a 10-month-old (home full-time).
• Facilitate a healthy daily routine, including meal prep for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, nap management (two children on different nap schedules), and developmentally appropriate play. Depending on nanny's final schedule.
• Assist with milestones and maintain a safe, stimulating environment.
• Perform light housekeeping related to the children: tidying toys, washing dishes, kitchen cleanup, and managing children’s laundry.
• Help create and maintain healthy sleep routines (nanny that is comfortable with children on different nap schedules).
• Occasionally, let the family’s two senior dogs outside and ensure their water bowls are filled.

Qualifications

• Proven experience with infants and toddlers, with excellent references.
• Knowledgeable in infant/toddler care, safety, and developmental milestones.
• Warm, caring, and proactive with strong communication skills.
• Comfortable working alongside a parent who may be at home.
• Must be reliable, organized, and self-sufficient, with the ability to plan activities and maintain routines independently.
• Comfortable with large, friendly senior dogs.
• Required vaccinations: TDAP, COVID, and flu.
