Job Title: PhlebotomistJob Description We are seeking a dedicated Phlebotomist to join our Patient Service Center (PSC) team. The primary role involves drawing blood from patients and performing specimen processing. This position is crucial in the collection, receipt, and preparation of biological specimens for analytical testing, ensuring the accurate entry of information into the computer system, and distributing specimens to the appropriate analytical areas. Responsibilities + Draw patients' blood and perform specimen processing in a PSC setting. + Collect and receive biological specimens into the department. + Accurately enter specimen data into the computer system. + Prepare samples for analytical testing. + Distribute specimens to the appropriate analytical area. + Perform specified analytical testing as assigned. + Adhere to the guidelines of the Code of Conduct. Essential Skills + Phlebotomy experience is required. + Proficiency in blood draw and specimen processing. + Strong integrity and excellent personality traits. Additional Skills & Qualifications + GED or High School Diploma required. Work Environment The role is based in a small, two-person Patient Service Center located at 13620 N Saguaro Blvd, Fountain Hills, AZ. The work schedule is Monday to Friday, from 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM. The center offers a comfortable working environment, with opportunities for career advancement. Employees can progress to a Phlebotomy Technician 2 role and receive a 4% pay increase after six months. The company encourages internal promotions, providing significant opportunities for growth. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $23.36/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
