Medical Laboratory Technologist II - Open Competetive
The successful incumbent for this position will work as a Medical Laboratory Technologist II for the Department of Health in Pinellas and will be responsible for leading the coordination of lab functions at five Health Department Clinic sites and five School Based Clinic sites. The successful incumbent will be based at the St. Petersburg Center and will also be responsible for providing client lab services as needed. Incumbent must be technically qualified and experienced, have knowledge of lab requirements under the CLIA Waiver, and be licensed or willing to become licensed as a Medical Laboratory Technician or Technologist by the State of Florida. Incumbent will have daily interaction with clients and staff from other programs and should possess excellent internal and external customer service skills.
