Job Description
Our property is seeking a part-time AM and PM night auditor to join our growing group of hospitality professionals. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to financial details, a genuine love of interacting with people, and a superior commitment to customer satisfaction. Previous hotel experience is not required, but guest service experience is highly preferred. Schedule: Night shifts (9:30 PM-6 AM/1:30 PM-9:00 PM)
Environment: Front desk/lobby area
Hazards: Minimal exposure to cleaning chemicals
Physical: Standing 85% of shift, occasional lifting
Responsibilities:
Financial Operations
• Perform nightly audits to balance accounts
• Process electronic credit card deposits
• Investigate/resolve billing discrepancies
• Prepare daily financial reports
Guest Services • Manage check-ins/check-outs
• Handle reservations and special requests
• Provide local area information
• Oversee luggage storage and mail services
Safety Compliance • Enforce emergency procedures
• Maintain key security
• Report hazards per OSHA standards
• Handle hazardous materials properly
Administrative Duties • Complete audit checklists
• Update guest service logs
• Archive digital records
• Act as MOD when required
Qualifications:
• Previous hotel front desk, hospitality, guest services, or night audit experience is preferred, but not required
• Excellent customer service and communication skills are required
• Overnight shift; requires flexible hours
