OverviewDental Assistant & Receptionist (Float Position)Innovative Endodontics We are seeking a compassionate and adaptable individual to join our dedicated team in a dual role as a Dental Assistant and Receptionist. In this float position, you will support our providers chairside during treatment, contribute to exceptional patient care, and assist with front office responsibilities as needed. Schedule: Full Time, Monday - Thursday 7:30am - 4:30pm and Friday 7:30am - 3:00pm*Must be able to travel between our Pittsburg and Sewickley locations ResponsibilitiesProvide chair-side clinical support to Drs by assisting, charting, patient education, operatory set-up and clean-upDeliver a superior patient experience at all phases of their appointmentTake and process X-RaysMaintain accurate patient records and documentationComplete sterilization processes for equipment and operatoriesWelcome, comfort and educate patients on oral hygiene and post treatment careEnsure infection control protocols, maintain patient confidentiality and follow workplace regulationsSchedule and confirm appointments, manage provider calendarsAnswer phone calls, respond to inquiries, and manage patient communicationVerify insurance coverage and obtain necessary pre-authorizationsProcess payments, handle billing, and maintain accurate financial recordsCoordinate patient flow and assist with administrative support as neededPlease note that additional responsibilities may be assigned QualificationsRequirements High school diploma or equivalent1+ years of Dental assisting experience1+ years of Dental receptionist experiencePreferred SkillsExcellent communication skills and a team-first attitudeReliable, organized, and comfortable in a high-level clinical settingCompletion of a Dental Assisting program or Dental Assisting certification preferred according to State and individual practicesRadiology certification preferred according to state and individual practicesWe OfferCompetitive CompensationComprehensive Benefits Package for Full Time Employees: Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K, Flexible Spending Accounts, Paid Time Off, Paid Holidays and much more!
