Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and operate the Building Management System to ensure optimal performance of all building systems.
- Conduct routine checks of HVAC, lighting, fire safety, security, and other building systems.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose system faults, perform corrective actions, and escalate issues as necessary.
- Maintain accurate logs and records of system performance, maintenance activities, and incidents.
- Coordinate with maintenance teams for scheduled repairs and preventive maintenance.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and building regulations.
- Optimize energy consumption and recommend improvements for energy efficiency.
- Respond promptly to alarms and emergency situations.
- Assist in system upgrades, modifications, and integrations.
- Provide technical support and training to building staff as needed.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Diploma or Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Electronics Engineering, or relevant technical qualification.
- Proven experience as a BMS operator or in a similar facility management role.
- Knowledge of building automation systems, HVAC, electrical, and fire safety systems.
- Familiarity with BMS software and hardware.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and documentation skills.
- Ability to work in a shift environment, including nights and weekends if required. Key Responsibilities:
