Job Description

1st Choice is seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized professional to join client's Human Resources department as a Temporary HR Scanning Specialist. In this role, you will play a crucial part in transitioning HR data and documents to a new digital system.

Responsibilities:
Scanning and Data Entry:
Convert paper-based HR documents into digital files using high-volume document scanners. Perform data entry tasks to ensure the accuracy and completeness of the scanned documents. Ensure scanned files are correctly named, categorized, and uploaded to the new digital HR system.

Legacy System Migration:
Assist in migrating digital HR files from the legacy system to the new digital platform.
Verify data integrity and accuracy during the migration process.
Troubleshoot any issues encountered during the migration process and escalate them to the appropriate personnel.

Document Management:
Assist in the secure destruction of scanned documents in accordance with organizational policies and procedures.
Maintain accurate records of scanned documents and their destruction.
Organize and maintain a clean and efficient workspace for processing documents.

Additional Duties:
Perform other duties as assigned by the HR department to support the overall scanning and data migration project.

Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Minimum of 1 year of experience with document scanning and data entry.
Experience working in a fast-paced environment with a high degree of accuracy is preferred.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to follow instructions and adhere to established procedures.
Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.

Hours: 8:00am - 4:30pm
